VALUE STREAM MAPPING
Description Coming Soon |
About this project:
The U.S. military conducts Military-to-Military visits for information sharing in conjunction with U.S. National Objectives and U.S. State Department intent to build partnerships and interoperability with our friends. Each Military Component to a Combatant Command prepares a list of events that will build partner capacity to stabilize regions and avert the risk of crises. Building a strategy, plan, and sourcing these events is critically important to prevent a larger commitment of national resources to solve a future crisis. Thorough analysis and process mapping included creation of leadership standard work through a Visual Control Board for monitoring and managing system constraints before they became an impact to the event execution. For more information about this project, see our "Visual Management" page. To see how a VSM translates into physical system design, see the Product Flow section of our "Process Tools" page. |

Systems are not good just because someone says they are. In fact, empirical analysis that identifies who the system favors can reveal facts that modify perception and attitudes toward a proper reality. About this project:
Sometimes systems seem rational and useful. And other times modifications are made that distort and shift the true beneficiaries. This element of government understanding followed a review of U.S. Citizenship. For more information about this project, see Character Development on our "Human Resource Development" page. |
